Man, 45, Struck by Semi-Truck on Riverside Freeway

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (Feb. 2, 2024) — Patrick Glant, 45, of Riverside, was struck and killed by a semi-truck early Thursday on the Riverside (91) Freeway in Riverside.

Police responded to the westbound side of the 91 Freeway at La Sierra Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol and MyNewsLA. It happened at around 12:15 a.m. on Feb. 1st.

It’s unknown what led up to the collision and the report did not mention if the truck driver stopped.

Authorities later identified the victim as Patrick Glant on the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner website.

Finally, police diverted traffic from the area to allow them to conduct an investigation into what happened.

The case remains under investigation to determine fault.
