Man Hospitalized After Crash at McHenry and Woodrow Avenue
Modesto, CA (February 8, 2023) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of McHenry and Woodrow Avenue.
According to CBS News, a Stanislaus County sheriff’s deputy was behind the wheel of a patrol car traveling in the streets of Modesto Wednesday evening, February 8.
Our sources indicated the patrol vehicle entered the intersection at McHenry and Woodrow and struck a pedestrian who tried to cross the roadway. The article published online mentioned the deputy tried to avoid hitting but still struck the person.
Major Pedestrian Accident in Modesto
The collision resulted in serious injuries to the pedestrian. Shortly after 9 p.m., medical personnel arrived and rendered first aid to the victim. An ambulance later transferred the patient to a hospital for further treatment of scrapes, bruises, and a broken ankle.
The deputy appeared unharmed after the crash. At this time, detectives continue to investigate liability in the traffic accident that happened at McHenry and Woodrow Avenue in Modesto.
