Adelanto Man Tragically Killed in Hit-and-run Collision

ADELANTO, Calif. (Feb. 28, 2025) — Paul J. Ceniceros, 60, of Adelanto, died in a pedestrian accident at Palmdale Road, just west of Bellflower Street in Adelanto on February 25, 2025.

The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim.

The traffic collision occurred around 7:07 PM when a driver in a full-size pickup truck struck Ceniceros as he was attempting to cross Palmdale Road, according to VVNG.

The driver in the westbound pickup truck turned around and returned to the scene where they tried to stop other motorists from hitting the victim. However, despite the efforts, several other vehicles hit the man and not one of them stopped.

Investigators are working to locate those involved and hold them accountable. They believe that some might not have realized they hit a person and continued driving.
