4 Injured in Torrance Car Accident at Calle Mayor and Carlow Road
TORRANCE (December 21, 2018) – An alleged DUI driver caused a traffic collision that injured four people in the area of Calle Mayor and Carlow Road Thursday night, according to The Daily Bulletin.
The suspect has been identified as 50-year-old Paul Molles, of Redondo Beach.
The accident involving two vehicles was reported on December 20 just before 9:15 p.m.
As per the article, police said Molles was driving a Toyota Prius southwest on Calle Mayor when he struck a Honda Civic occupied by four parties.
The Civic was trying to make a left turn from eastbound Calle Mayor onto northbound Carlow Road when it was hit by the Prius at the intersection.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and determined that two San Pedro women, ages 26 and 22, who were ejected from the rear passenger seats of the Honda following the crash.
Both suffered major injuries upon impact. The 19-year-old San Pedro man operating the Civic and the front seat passenger, a 17-year-old Wilmington girl, sustained minor injuries in the wreck.
All four patients were transported to the hospital for treatment. Their names and condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, police believed that Molles was driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. He was ultimately arrested on suspicion of DUI.
