Fatal Traffic Collision Near Pelandale Avenue Tuesday
Hughson, CA (March 30, 2022) – Paul O’Hara, a 39-year-old man, died following a motorcycle accident that occurred on Highway 99 on March 29.
The Ceres Courier News reported O’Hara was riding a 2015 Kawasaki motorcycle traveling on the highway Tuesday morning. Preliminary investigation revealed a 2008 Scion hatchback collided with the motorcyclist in the area near Pelandale Avenue. Due to the force from the impact, O’Hara was ejected in a northeasterly direction.

According to the article published online, the motorcyclist fell into the number 3 lane of SR-99. An oncoming 2012 Freightliner attempted to swerve but ended up running over the victim. Officials confirmed the rider suffered fatal injuries as a result of the incident. Authorities later identified the deceased as Paul O’Hara, of Hughson.
Meanwhile, the drivers of both the Scion and the Freightliner appeared unharmed after the collision.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole morning to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the traffic crash.
