Pauline Gonzalez, 28, Killed in Palmdale DUI Crash on 14 Freeway
PALMDALE, CA (April 11, 2022) – Pauline Gonzalez was killed after a DUI crash on the 14 Freeway in Palmdale.
The coroner’s office identified the 28-year-old Canyon Country woman as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Saturday.
The incident happened when Pauline Gonzalez was driving a 1996 Buick sedan south on the 14 Freeway, south of Palmdale Boulevard. She then became involved in an accident with a Honda sedan.
Woman Hit by DUI Driver
The California Highway Patrol said the woman exited her car which ended up disabled within the No. 4 lane. A 2006 Ford F150 approached and then struck her and her sedan, in the process.
Pauline Gonzalez died as a result of the crash. The Antelope Valley Times wrote that the incident occurred on April 9 at around 2:13 a.m.
Meanwhile, CHP believed that the driver of the pickup truck was under the influence when he hit the victim. The Palmdale crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the southbound lanes of State Route 14 to shut down for hours following the wreck. Anyone with information can call the Antelope Valley CHP Office at 661-948-8541.
