5 Adults, 3 Children Injured in Pauma Valley Crash on Highway 76 Monday
PAUMA VALLEY (August 6, 2018) – Several were injured, including children, after a traffic collision on Highway 76 near Casino Pauma on Monday morning, according to ABC 10 News.
The accident was reported at around 8 a.m., about a half-mile west of Casino Pauma in North County.
As per the article, officials said for an unknown reason two vehicles collided head-on on Highway 76. Fire department personnel along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to a total of eight people who were hurt as a result of the crash.

The patients, described as five adults and three children, were all taken to Palomar Medical Center Escondido for treatment. Four of them suffered major injuries while the other four sustained minor wounds.
The names and condition of all the victims at this time were not immediately available. Meanwhile, the eastbound and westbound Highway 76 between Pauma Reservation Road and Cole Grade Road were closed following the wreck.
Authorities are still investigating what exactly caused the incident.
