1 Killed in Pauma Valley Crash on South Grade Road Saturday
PAUMA VALLEY, CA (April 10, 2021) – A motorcycle crash killed one person along South Grade Road in Pauma Valley.
According to an article published by the San Diego Union-Tribune, the tragic accident occurred on Saturday. Officers reported the wreck shortly before noon.
The California Highway Patrol said a gray Lexus and a motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed on South Grade Road in Pauma Valley.
Car vs Motorcycle Collision in Palomar Mountain
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene in the Palomar Mountain area. They confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. CHP did not mention if the victim was the motorcyclist or an occupant of the car involved.
Meanwhile, officials forced South Grade Road to shut down for a time following the crash. The cause of the Pauma Valley collision is still under investigation.
