MENIFEE, Calif. (May 19, 2023) – Paz Lim, 62, of Menifee, died in a Menifee crash on the Interstate 215 Freeway near Scott Road.
The traffic accident took place around 9:51 p.m. on Thursday, May 18th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Multiple vehicles collided on the 215 Freeway in Menifee due to unknown circumstances.
CHP described one of the vehicles as a big rig truck. Meanwhile, firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and located one person trapped in the wreckage.
Despite efforts by medical crews, a Menifee woman died at the scene of the collision. The Riverside County Sheriff Coroner later identified her as Paz Lim.
Meanwhile, authorities closed down the northbound lanes of the 215 Freeway to investigate the cause of the crash and liability.
