Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Mountain View Crash on 43rd Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (July 14, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a crash on 43rd Street in the Mountain View neighborhood.
According to an article published by the San Diego Union-Tribune, the accident took place on Wednesday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 9:20 p.m.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck two people on South 43rd Street in the San Diego’s Mountain View area. The driver hit them where National Avenue becomes Logan Avenue.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found one victim, a female pedestrian, hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took her to a hospital for treatment of major injuries, including a fractured skull and brain bleed. Officials did not release her name and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police did not mention the extent of the injuries sustained by the other pedestrian. The motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victims.
Officials forced a portion of 43rd Street to shut down following the pedestrian collision. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Mountain View crash.
