Major Injury Pedestrian Accident at Folsom Boulevard in the La Riviera Area
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Oct. 12, 2022) — A major injury pedestrian accident happened Wednesday morning at Folsom Boulevard and Butterfield Way in the La Riviera part of Sacramento.
Additionally, the collision occurred in the eastbound lanes of Folsom Boulevard about 8:41 a.m. on Oct. 12th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of a silver Acura reported struck the victim in the roadway due to unknown circumstances. The intersection is controlled by traffic lights and has crosswalks for pedestrians in all directions.
Paramedics responded to help the injured person and transport them to a hospital. The report did not provide any further details about the person hurt in the Sacramento crash.
Finally, the traffic report does not mention what led up to the pedestrian accident on Folsom Boulevard, but it remains under investigation.
