Elderly Man Severely Injured in Crash at Monterey and Montecito Vista
San Jose, CA (October 13, 2022) – One person suffered serious injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of Monterey Road and Montecito Vista Drive.
According to KRON4 News, a vehicle struck an elderly man at the intersection in the residential neighborhood in San Jose.
Earlier reports indicated the collision took place just after noon.
Major Injury Pedestrian Accident in San Jose
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the victim. Paramedics decided to transfer the injured party to the hospital for further treatment of life-threatening injuries. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Our sources mentioned the driver involved in the crash fled the scene. Details on the hit-and-run suspect have not been discussed thus far.
