Work Truck Hits Pedestrian Near Airport
MURRIETA, Calif. (July 16, 2024) — A driver struck a pedestrian Tuesday in a traffic accident at Auld Road and Briggs Road near the French Valley Airport in between Murrieta and French Valley.
The collision occurred at around 3:47 p.m. on July 16th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a work truck struck the victim due to unknown circumstances.
Paramedics from Cal Fire Riverside responded and transported the injured pedestrian to Inland Valley Medical Center for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
A tow truck removed the vehicle due to damage.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the accident on Auld Road in French Valley.
