Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Car Thursday on Beale Road in Linda, Yuba County
LINDA, Yuba County (February 2, 2018) – A person was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident that occurred on North Beale Road Thursday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol group.
At precisely 2:35 p.m., the CHP logged a traffic report involving a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle in the 1523 block of North Beale Road, near the Lowe Avenue junction.
Emergency teams, including at least one ground ambulance, were dispatched to provide medical aid and assistance at the scene. Officials mentioned that the pedestrian was transported to Rideout Memorial Hospital for treatment of what appeared to be major injuries. The identity of the victim was not released.
Meanwhile, no information was immediately disclosed on the involved motorist.
The investigators assigned to handle the case continue to determine what exactly caused the collision.
