Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Chula Vista Apartment Complex Parking Lot Crash
CHULA VISTA, CA (May 13, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after an accident in a Chula Vista apartment complex parking lot.
The San Diego Union-Tribune wrote that the collision took place on Thursday afternoon in Chula Vista. Officers reported the crash at about 1:30 p.m.
Police said a vehicle backing in an apartment complex parking lot on 2nd Avenue struck an elderly male pedestrian. The driver hit the person for an unknown reason.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene between Quintard Street and Orange Avenue. They soon found the man who ended up suffering from serious head injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose his name and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist stopped after hitting the elderly man. The driver stayed at the crash site and cooperated with the officers.
The cause of the Chula Vista pedestrian accident is still under investigation.
