Pedestrian Injured in Concord Avenue Accident
CONCORD, Calif. (June 22, 2021) — A pedestrian accident on Concord Avenue happened Tuesday afternoon at Meridian Park Boulevard.
The Concord crash happened about 12:48 p.m. on June 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police report a driver in a Honda struck the pedestrian for unknown reasons. The Contra Costa County Fire Department responded to help the injured pedestrian. However, there were no further details provided in the CHP report.

Paramedics treated the injured pedestrian, but it’s unknown if the person was hospitalized or not. The age, gender and identity of the injured person is not on the CHP dispatch report. Meanwhile, McHugh’s Tow removed the damaged Honda from the scene.
Meanwhile, investigators seek to determine fault for the collision. It’s unknown if drugs, alcohol or speed were factors in the Concord Avenue pedestrian accident.
Police urge witnesses to contact them.
