Pedestrian Accident El Cajon Boulevard and Altadena Avenue in San Diego
Driver Hits Elderly Man Walking Dog in Talmadge Area
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Feb. 10, 2025) — An elderly man was injured Saturday in a pedestrian accident at El Cajon Boulevard and Altadena Avenue in the Talmadge/Mid City area of San Diego.
The traffic accident occurred around 11 p.m. on Feb. 8th, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The elderly man was crossing the roadway with a cart and his small dog when a driver in a sedan struck him at the unmarked crosswalk.
The victim went down in the roadway and suffered injuries. Paramedics with the San Diego Fire Department responded and transported the man and his dog to a hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, police questioned the man driving the dark-colored sedan about what happened and there is an investigation underway.
