Man Injured in Chula Vista Pedestrian Accident
CHULA VISTA, Calif. (Dec. 29, 2023) — An 18-year-old driver struck a male pedestrian Tuesday night in a car accident at H Street and Third Avenue in Chula Vista.
The collision occurred at around 8:40 p.m. on Dec. 28th, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune and the Chula Vista Police Dept.
Paramedics responded to help the injured man and transported him by ambulance to a hospital where he is being treated for a head injury, the report said.
It’s unknown what led up to the traffic accident at this time, but drugs and or alcohol are not factors, police said.
The driver stopped and cooperated with the traffic investigation.
The case remains under investigation to determine fault.
