Two Vehicle Crash Involving Pedestrian Removing Chains
EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. (Feb. 7, 2025) — A driver struck a pedestrian removing chains from their vehicle Friday in an accident on Highway 50 at Twin Bridges Road in El Dorado County.
The traffic accident involving major injuries occurred around 10 a.m. on Feb. 7th, in Twin Bridges, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a motorist was removing chains from their grey Subaru Outback when two other vehicles collided and one struck the victim.
The drivers of a red Subaru Impreza struck the pedestrian following a collision with a Nissan Rogue SUV, the report said.
Paramedics responded and located an adult male with major injuries and that person or another person reported complaints of chest pain. At least one person was taken to a hospital for further treatment.
Tow trucks removed all three vehicles and investigators are working to determine fault for the pedestrian accident on Highway 50 in Twin Bridges.
