Pedestrian Lying in Roadway, Unsure of Condition in Eureka
EUREKA, Calif. (June 14, 2024) — A pedestrian accident occurred on Friday morning in Eureka California, between Walford Avenue and Harris Street in Humboldt County.
The pedestrian accident occurred at around 11:45 AM on June 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A vehicle hit a pedestrian in Eureka California. The California Highway Patrol reported that the pedestrian was laying in the roadway. The overall condition of the person hit by the vehicle is unknown. The CHP has not reported if the pedestrian has any injuries. The paramedics and the fire department for the region was requested on the scene. The CHP has reported that a Honda Fit and a Toyota RAV4 may have been the vehicles involved in the collision. One of the vehicles had a shattered windshield.
Paramedics responded and located those injured and transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the pedestrian crash accident between Walford Avenue and Harris Street.
