Pedestrian Injured in North Highlands Parking Lot Accident on Watt Avenue
NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (May 10, 2021) – An accident in a North Highlands parking lot on Watt Avenue left a pedestrian injured.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the incident occurred on Monday morning. Officers reported the crash at about 10:15 a.m.
CHP said a green SUV struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in North Highlands. The driver hit the person in the parking lot of the Safe Credit Union at 4636 Watt Avenue.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Highway 244. They found the victim who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the patient for the minor injuries they sustained. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, CHP mentioned that the motorist stopped after hitting the person. Officers forced the parking lot to close for a time following the collision.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the North Highlands pedestrian accident.
