EAST LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Dec. 8, 2022) — A child was injured in a pedestrian accident Thursday morning at East Cesar E. Chavez Avenue and North Dangler Avenue in East Los Angeles.
The collision occurred about 8:17 a.m. on Dec. 8th at the East LA intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The CHP report stated a dark gray Dodge sedan struck the juvenile girl as she was walking in the intersection.
The driver pulled over to the side and the girl was evaluated on the roadside, the report said.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help the injured pedestrian, but it’s unknown if the girl was hospitalized.
Meanwhile, police will piece together what happened and determine fault for the pedestrian accident.
