
2 Women Injured in Crash on Knoxville Street
BAY PARK, Calif. (Oct. 9, 2023) — Two women were injured in a pedestrian accident on Knoxville Street in the Bay Park area of San Diego County.
A driver in an SUV reportedly struck them in the 1700 block of Knoxville Street at around 6:55 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7th, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The two women, ages 64 and 67 years old, were walking together in the southbound traffic lane when a 79-year-old woman driving a 2013 Toyota Venza struck them.
The San Diego Police Department and paramedics responded to the scene to help those injured in the crash and conduct an investigation.
One of the pedestrians was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the other complained of pain, but was not hospitalized.
San Diego Police are working on the cause of the pedestrian accident on Knoxville Street. They are also asking witnesses to call San Diego County Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
