Teenage Girl Hit by Pickup Truck at Linda Intersection
LINDA, Calif. (July 12, 2024) — A driver struck a teenage girl in a pedestrian accident Friday morning at North Beale Road and Lindhurst Avenue in Linda.
The major-injury traffic accident occurred at around 8 a.m. on July 12th in Yuba County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a black GMC pickup truck reportedly struck the teenager due to unknown circumstances.
The man exited his vehicle and someone called 911 for help, the report said.
Paramedics responded to help the injured pedestrian and transport her to a hospital. She is being treated for major injuries at this time.
Meanwhile, the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office responded and is heading up the investigation.
