Major Injury Pedestrian Accident on North State Street in Ukiah
MENDOCINO COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 14, 2022) — A major injury pedestrian accident happened Friday morning at North State Street and Lake Mendocino Drive in Ukiah, Mendocino County.
The collision occurred about 6:07 a.m. on Oct. 14th in The Forks area, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a Ford Escape struck the pedestrian due to unknown circumstances at the crosswalk in front of First Choice Import Engines.
The victim suffered major injuries in the collision and someone called 911 for paramedics. The report does not mention the victim’s age, gender or identity.
Authorities responded to investigate what led up to the Ukiah pedestrian accident as well as liability.
