Man Hit and Injured by Vehicle Near University Avenue
San Diego, CA (November 18, 2022) – One person suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Aragon Drive in the Redwood Village community early Friday.
Vehicle Runs Over Pedestrian on Aragon Drive in Redwood Village
The San Diego Union-Tribune News reported a male party was seen lying in the roadway just south of University Avenue. At approximately 4:15 a.m., a passing motorist did not notice the man on the ground and ended up running over him.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian suffering in serious injuries. Responding paramedics rendered first aid to the victims, then transported him to a hospital for further treatment. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Toyota Tacoma reportedly appeared unharmed after the crash. Investigators continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the pedestrian accident happened on Aragon Drive in Redwood Village.
