
LINDA, Calif. (March 16, 2023) — A pedestrian accident happened Thursday afternoon on Hammonton Smartville Road in Linda in Yuba County.
The injury crash occurred in front of 1675 Hammonton Smartville Road around 2:32 p.m. on March 16th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in a gray Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck reportedly struck a person in the roadway near the Kwik Serve station. It’s unknown what led up to the traffic accident.
The Yuba County Sheriff’s Office sent deputies and paramedics to the crash scene to help the injured person, but there are no further details.
An ambulance was at the scene, but it’s unknow if the person was taken to a hospital.
A tow truck from Sanchez Towing came to remove the damaged pickup truck from the roadway.
Liability for the crash will be determined by police.
