Child Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision on Nunes Street
Castro Valley, CA (October 26, 2022) – A 6-year-old boy suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Nunes Street.
The KRON4 News reported a vehicle struck the child near Castro Valley Boulevard Tuesday afternoon. According to the article published online, the juvenile appeared to be crossing the street when the crash happened.
Pedestrian Hospitalized After Accident in Castro Valley
Shortly after 5:30 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found the child suffering in unspecified injuries. Given condition of the victim, an ambulance rushed him to a hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Authorities confirmed the driver fled the scene after hitting the pedestrian. Preliminary investigation revealed the hit-and-run suspect was driving a white SUV. Detectives handling the case continue to gather information surrounding the pedestrian accident that happened on Nunes Street in Castro Valley.
