Man, 60, Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Crash on Ventura Avenue
VENTURA (January 4, 2019) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a traffic accident along Ventura Avenue on Friday, according to Ventura County Star and KVTA.
The collision took place at around 5:40 p.m., just south of Comstock Drive.
As per the reports, police said a 60-year-old man was walking west across Ventura Avenue when for an unknown reason he was struck by a vehicle.
The car was traveling south on Ventura Avenue when it hit the male pedestrian who was not in a crosswalk at the time.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to Ventura County Medical Center to be treated for major injuries.
The name and condition of the patient at this time remained unknown. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver involved stopped after hitting the man and cooperated with the authorities.
