Pedestrian Accident on Vermont Avenue, 90th Street in South Los Angeles

SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Calif. (August 28, 2026) — A pedestrian was reportedly struck by a vehicle Friday morning at the intersection of South Vermont Avenue and West 90th Street in South Los Angeles.

The collision was reported on Aug. 28th at approximately 8:39 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Vermont Avenue. Initial information indicated a possible pedestrian collision involving a black Nissan sedan and a male pedestrian.

A subsequent update reported that a gray Nissan Rogue was involved in a collision with a pedestrian. Authorities also noted a vehicle grill was found nearby, although it was unclear whether it was connected to the crash.

By 8:47 a.m., an involved vehicle was still at the scene. The condition of the pedestrian was not immediately available.

The circumstances leading up to the collision remain under investigation.
