Pedestrian Survives After Being Stuck Under Vehicle
LONG BEACH, Calif. (July 15, 2024) – A driver struck a pedestrian and the man became trapped underneath the vehicle in an accident on Willow Street, just east of the Long Beach 710 Freeway.
The traffic accident occurred at around 12:42 a.m. on July 15th, according to MyNewsLA.
Paramedics responded and rushed the man to a hospital today for treatment of undisclosed upper body injuries. The man had stable vital signs upon arrival.
Meanwhile, investigators determined the woman driving the vehicle had been traveling westbound on Willow Street when the man walked into the roadway from the north curb.
At this time, police do not suspect alcohol and or distracted driving were factors, but the case remains under investigation.
