Juvenile Struck by Pickup Truck Near Coto De Caza Entrance
COTO DE CAZA, Calif. (Sept. 1, 2022) — A pickup truck struck a juvenile pedestrian Thursday at Oso Parkway and Coto De Caza Drive near the entrance to the gated Coto De Caza community.
The pedestrian accident occurred about 7:27 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver in a white Ford F-150 pickup truck reportedly struck the victim due to unknown circumstances.
Paramedics responded to help the injured child or teenager who suffered undisclosed injuries. The CHP report did not provide the victim’s name, age or gender. It’s also unknown if they took the young person to a hospital or not.
Meanwhile, authorities requested a tow truck for the pickup as it will be held as evidence.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the pedestrian accident.
