Man, 33, Struck on Sea World Drive in Mission Bay
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Oct. 29, 2024) — A pedestrian was severely injured Saturday night when a driver struck him on Sea World Drive near Friars Road near Mission Bay in San Diego.
The traffic accident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 26th, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
A 25-year-old man driving a Ford F-150 pickup truck struck the victim in the eastbound lanes of Sea World Drive.
The 33-year-old man reportedly stepped into the path of the truck when he was hit.
Paramedics responded and transported the injured man to a hospital. He was being treated for internal injuries from the collision.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the case, but6 alcohol was not considered a factor.
