Woman Severely Injured in San Jose Car Accident

SAN JOSE, Calif. (April 11, 2024) — A pedestrian suffered major injuries early Thursday in a car accident at Story Road and Roberts Avenue in San Jose’s Little Saigon neighborhood.

The collision occurred at around 5:20 a.m. on April 11th, according to the San Jose Police Department and KRON 4.

A driver struck the woman at the intersection due to unknown circumstances. Meanwhile, paramedics transported her by ambulance to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries, police said.

Also, the driver stopped and cooperated with police and the ongoing investigation, the report said.

Authorities closed down the eastbound side of Story Road between Roberts Avenue and Lucretia Avenue to collect evidence and clear the roadway.
