Major Injury Traffic Collision on Roseville Road, North Sacramento

NORTH SACRAMENTO, Calif., (Sept. 27, 2026) — A pedestrian sustained severe injuries in a major traffic collision early Sunday morning on Roseville Road near Watt Avenue.

The incident occurred on Sept. 27th at approximately 1:57 a.m. when a vehicle reportedly struck a pedestrian at the intersection. According to logs, the pedestrian was found laying in the roadway, unresponsive to verbal stimuli and only reacting to painful stimuli. Emergency responders from Sacramento Metro arrived at the scene and transported the injured individual to Mercy San Juan Medical Center with major head and neck injuries.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the southbound lanes of Watt Avenue just north of Roseville Road were blocked due to the collision. It remains unclear which direction the vehicle involved was traveling or the specific lane in which the incident occurred. The vehicle was reportedly stopped nearby following the collision.

The pedestrian, whose identity has not been disclosed, is currently receiving medical care. The nature and extent of their injuries underscore the severity of the crash.
