Woman, 60, Seriously Injured in Point Loma Heights
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Oct. 11, 2023) — A driver struck a 60-year-old woman in a pedestrian accident on West Point Loma Boulevard in the Point Loma Heights neighborhood of San Diego.
The crash occurred at around 9:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10th, according to the Times of San Diego.
The woman was seriously injured when an eastbound 2001 Buick Century struck her in the northbound lanes of West Point Loma Boulevard near Chapman Street.
The San Diego Police is heading up the investigation into what happened.
Paramedics transported the woman to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries including a fractured left ankle, facial fractures as well as internal bleeding.
An investigation is underway by the San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division to determine fault.
