Pedestrian Airlift to Hospital After Westmont Crash
Westmont, Calif. (August 10, 2023) — A pedestrian was gravely injured in a car accident Thursday morning at South Western Avenue West Imperial Highway in the Westmont area of South Los Angeles.
The collision, which involved two vehicles, occurred about 9:25 a.m. on August 10th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Police responded to the crash scene and located the pedestrian with major injuries. Paramedics transported the person to Harbor General UCLA.
Meanwhile, authorities closed down the southbound lanes of Western Avenue, just north of Imperial Highway.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on the pedestrian accident Western Avenue to determine fault.
