Pedestrian Injured in Crash on Western Avenue and West 111th Street
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (March 2, 2021) — A Western Avenue pedestrian accident happened Tuesday at West 111th Street in Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a driver struck the pedestrian about 6:53 a.m. on March 2nd. Police have not mentioned if the pedestrian was in a crosswalk or somewhere else in the roadway.
Police and Los Angeles County Fire paramedics responded to the accident scene at Western Avenue to help the injured pedestrian. Meanwhile, authorities closed down the roadway in all directions at the Western Avenue intersection.

It’s unknown what led up to the Western Avenue pedestrian accident at this time. It appears the driver stopped and cooperated with police.
Authorities continue to review evidence to determine the cause of the crash and liability. Witnesses may contact police.
