6 Injured in Florence Pedestrian and Car Crash on Main Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 8, 2021) – Several were injured after a crash on Main Street in the Florence neighborhood of Los Angeles.
According to the KTLA News and My News LA, the accident took place on Monday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 7:43 p.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. One of them then struck a pedestrian in the 6800 block of Main Street in Florence.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found a total of six people, including the pedestrian, who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took some of the patients to a nearby hospital and listed them in moderate to serious condition. They treated the others at the site.
The reports did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and the extent of the injuries they sustained. Meanwhile, officials forced a stretch of Main Street to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Florence crash is still under investigation.
