SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, California (December 30, 2016) — Pedestrian Charles Gonzales, 52, of Ontario died early Wednesday morning when he was struck by a vehicle as he walked on the Interstate 15 Freeway near the 4th Street off ramp, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place about 2:50 a.m. on Dec. 28. Multiple vehicles struck Mr. Gonzales and he died at the scene.
The CHP is heading up an investigation into liability for the crash.
On Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at approximately 2:50 am, Charles Gonzales, a 52 year old resident of Ontario was walking on I-15 southbound near the 4th Street off-ramp when he was struck by multiple vehicles. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
