Pedestrian Critically Injured in Car Accident on River Boulevard in Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (April 29, 2026) — At least one pedestrian was critically injured Tuesday night in a car accident on River Boulevard near Water Street in Bakersfield.

A driver in a pickup truck reportedly struck at least one pedestrian on April 28th at 8:32 p.m. The person was found conscious and breathing and was taken to a hospital.

Detectives are working to determine liability for the Bakersfield car accident.
