Pedestrian Hospitalized After Hit-and-run Crash on Boronda Road
CARMEL VALLEY, Calif. (June 5, 2018) – A pedestrian was injured early Tuesday morning in a hit-and-run collision at 14 Boronda Road, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place about 3:09 a.m. this morning. The woman who was driving the vehicle appears to have fled the scene and the man who was injured required an ambulance for undisclosed injuries. He was taken to Community Hospital of Monterey Peninsula.

Police are investigating this collision in an effort to locate the suspect who fled and determine fault. At this time, there are many unanswered questions such as whether or not speed, alcohol or distractions were factors.
