Pedestrian Injured in Fresno DMV Parking Lot Hit-and-Run Crash
FRESNO, CA (February 23, 2021) – A pedestrian was injured after a hit-and-run crash in Fresno DMV parking lot on Olive Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred last week on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the collision at about 1:49 p.m.
The incident happened on February 19 when a vehicle struck a female pedestrian walking out of the Fresno DMV with her baby. The driver reversed and hit her in the parking lot at 655 West Olive Avenue.

Firefighters along with the paramedics then responded to the scene. They found the victim left suffering from unspecified injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel provided treatment to the wounded party. Officials did not release the name of the patient and her condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the female motorist initially stopped after hitting the victim but continued and fled the area. Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run suspect.
