Woman Hit by Vehicle After Getting Out of Her Car
FREMONT, Calif. (July 18, 2018) — A woman was struck by a vehicle after she got out of her car following a collision on the Interstate 880 Freeway, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The 4-vehicle crash took place about 5:41 a.m. near Stevenson Boulevard. The CHP report stated the woman was involved in a collision with other vehicles prior to getting out of her vehicle. She was laying in the center divider upon the arrival of paramedics who transported her to a hospital for treatment of major injuries.
A black Volkswagen Jetta had major front-end damage and was towed from the scene.
Traffic Accident Investigation
At this time, liability for this collision has not been determined.
