Pedestrian Hit by Truck in Crash on Vista Mar Drive in El Dorado Hills
PLACERVILLE, Calif., (Sept. 10, 2026) — A major injury traffic collision involving a box truck and a pedestrian occurred Thursday morning at 1931 Vista Mar Drive in El Dorado Hills.
The incident was reported on Sept. 10th at approximately 9:26 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). Emergency responders arrived at the scene following reports of a pedestrian trapped under a box truck. The collision transitioned from a simple notification to a major injury traffic collision shortly after the initial report.
The victim remains unidentified at this time. Emergency personnel worked diligently to extricate the pedestrian from beneath the truck, and paramedics were on site to provide immediate medical attention.
Authorities are actively investigating the circumstances leading to this collision. The CHP has urged witnesses to come forward with any information that could assist in the investigation.
