IRVINE, California (May 12, 2016) — A pedestrian, possibly a tow truck driver, was struck by a black Jeep Thursday morning on the southbound Interstate 405 Freeway at the MacArthur Boulevard off ramp, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash was reported about 6:47 a.m. this morning. Police say there was a white construction truck on the right shoulder and the two truck driver was about to tow someone at the time of the crash.
The Orange County Fire Authority responded to treat and possibly transport the injured pedestrian to a local hospital.
An investigation into the crash is underway by the CHP.
