LOS BANOS, California (June 8, 2016) – A pedestrian was struck by an alleged hit-and-run driver on Highway 152, according to an article by Merced Sun-Star.
The accident happened on June 7 at around 7:44 p.m.
As per the report, officers responded to the site and found a woman hit by a vehicle that fled after the crash without rendering aid. The suspect’s vehicle was later located on the highway and a pursuit chase was initiated.
The chase ended with the suspect’s vehicle flipped, wrecked, and caught fire on the highway.
Meanwhile, no updates were provided on the condition of the female victim.
