Driver Hit Pedestrian on Fruitridge Road
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Sept. 14, 2023) — A driver struck a pedestrian using a wheelchair Wednesday night in an accident on Fruitridge Road in Sacramento.
The person suffered major injuries in the 9 p.m. collision on Sept. 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The motorist struck the person in the 5100 block of Fruitridge Road due to unknown circumstances, police said.
The Sacramento Fire Department responded and transported the injured person to a hospital where they were listed in critical condition.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the pedestrian accident on Fruitridge Road.
