ROSAMOND, California (May 3, 2016) – A hit-and-run driver left a pedestrian injured on West Rosamond Boulevard Tuesday night, according to California Highway Patrol Officers. (map)
CHP initially logged the incident when a female pedestrian was struck by a car at approximately 9:20 p.m.
The woman was left lying in the roadway while the driver involved took off the scene.
As per the dispatch, Kern County Sheriff’s Officers along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the wounded victim. Her name, the extent of the injuries sustained and her condition at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, deputies added that the suspect car was located on C Street. The hit-and-run motorist reportedly crashes into several other vehicles in the process.
