Pedestrian Injured in Crash on Euclid Avenue, Federal Blvd., in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Sept. 4, 2026) — A driver struck a 34-year-old woman in a crash early Friday as the pedestrian was crossing Euclid Avenue and Federal Boulevard in the Webster area of San Diego.
Authorities say the collision occurred around 5 a.m. on Sept. 4th at the San Diego intersection. A driver traveling southbound in a 2004 Mazda struck the victim, resulting in major injuries including a skull fracture, a brain contusion, torn carotid artery, and liver damage, according to the San Diego Police Department report.
Paramedics transported the injured woman to a hospital where she remains in critical condition.
Detectives from the San Diego police department are handling the investigation to determine fault.
